ART ON CANVAS

Soon after we started living together, we realized how very much we enjoy spending hours and hours painting. We started with small canvases of 12″ x 12″ and would soon find ourselves painting a giant galactic fish (36″ x 72″) that would be displayed above the bar in our art gallery. In the last year and a half we have painted more than 150 paintings, participated at a couple of art markets and pop up art shows at local bars and even organized our own erotic art show. Over the years we have developed this colorful funky style, that just jumps off the wall and is finished sealed with a glossy resin finish. “Our paintings are inspired by nature, mythical stories, experiences and day to day occurrences. We hide secret messages in each piece, and have different symbols for different things. We approach all our paintings together and start from opposite ends of the canvas until meeting in the middle. Our backgrounds mostly consist of the texture we created called “Funkamo”. Which is created by combining the textures of a lava lamp with camouflage patterns. We aspire to create a massive collection over the years, letting people into our mind and world. Creating non stop, new characters and creatures. Doing what we are passionate about and we could go on doing for years and years.”

We also make prints and stickers out of our paintings so people can have a little piece of Tamthe to themselves. Store coming soon!
